What is the difference between Botox and Fillers?

Botox prevents the small muscles in your face from making the movements that cause wrinkles, whilst dermal fillers plump from below the wrinkle to smooth them out and promote a youthful appearance.

Are the procedures painful?

There may be slight discomfort while the filler is being injected. As Dr. Tara is Dentist a dental block an use administered as well as a topical numbing cream to minimise any pain.


How soon will I see any result and how long does it last?

Results of toxin take 5 to 14 days and last 3 to 4 months. Dermal fillers results are instant and last 6 to 12 months.

The longevity varies from person to person depending on your requirements and the severity of wrinkles.


Are the treatments safe?

At AWI we use only products with proven safety record. Dr. Tara has over 15 years in the medical field. Consultation and treatment are personally undertaken by Dr. Tara.

What are the aftercare instructions?

No make up for 12 hours – no excessive exercise on day of treatment – avoid extreme heat or cold on day of treatment.


What filler do we use?

We use Perfectha Belotero Restylane and Teoxane depending on what area needs to be treated.
